Mikomi Sushi Monrovia

Great service, amazing food! We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and were seated within minutes. We were surprised to hear that it was still Happy Hour (to our surprise) for about another hour. This was very welcome news since it was a Saturday at 4:30pm. We ordered the Garlic Edamame, Gyoza, Spicy Tuna Roll, Firecracker Roll, and Baked Lotus Roll. Definitely intend to visit again whenever we are back in the area!

Great service, friendly, and physically a super large restaurant so you never have to wait long but really overpriced for their quality. I think this is an okay spot if you're just looking for convenience or attending the Monrovia faire, but you can find better sushi than what they offer here at the same price. To be honest, it has a very Pasadena-esque vibe.. That is, it feels like they cater to a financially well-off demographic that isn't quite as food-savvy. If you're a foodie or well-versed in sushi, you can skip this place.

Newly opened sushi restaurant in the old town of Monrovia, at the former location of T.Phillips This place was very stylish and upscale, with a large open layout and decor. The staff was very friendly and the food was very good. Average price for rolls was around $16. They have a beautiful bar, high tables or standard and an outdoor area. Will definitely return to try some of the other roles. I tried the Lemon Cilantro Roll, Las Vegas Roll and another one. My son had the rams and he enjoyed it.

The restaurant itself was very elegant. Vaulted ceilings with unique hanging lights. We ordered the ramen combos and we were very pleased with their tonkotsu and miso ramens. Will come back again to try their sushi and other rolls.

Went here for a holiday dinner with the coworkers and the food was great! We had a lot of different dishes off the menu. First time here and it went well. Would recommend!
