Pot Luck - Monroe

On the way to pick up peaches, I found this little jewel. The menu is limited, but what they have was quite incredible. I ordered the lunch speciality (fried thighs, potato salad, beans, Slav and iced tea for under $10. The fried chicken was some of the best I had eaten (circle on the outside, juicy and delicate inside, the baked beans and Slav were also delicious. The rest of the lunch card was burgers, sandwiches and can only speculate that they were this incredibly good...

If you're looking for the best cookies you've ever had, don't look further! The Potluck Cafe is the absolute best small southern café you will ever find! You have a wonderful cup of hot coffee waiting for us when we in. The staff is very hospitable and my fiancée and I love our server Tina. We would give a full 10 stars if we could!!

This is one of the best places to go to Monroe. Your cookies are also great. If you have the time to go here, I definitely recommend it. Sometimes they're pretty busy.

This place is the best place to eat in Monroe. Tuesdays and Thursdays are my most favorite days because of their daily specials and the service is the best around. Within a few visits you'll be on a first name basis with the place and I highly recommend, if you are eating by yourself, that you sit at the community table and get to know some of the good people in this area.
