Koumi Express - Monroe

Koumi Express has a line around the parking lot, so we thought we would give them a try and see if we were missing out. The line moved fairly quickly. The menu was pretty basic and what you'd expect from a Japanese restaurant. We got the mixed vegetables and the steak and shrimp combo. Both meals were good, but I wouldn't say better than most. We would go back if we were in the area.

Never had a bad experience, always takeout. Generous portions and quick, friendly service. Better than other local places for sure when you're looking for hibachi.

Large indoor seating area. But only drive-through open. Food is inexpensive and very good. But you will be rushed out of exploring the menus options. They keep that drive through moving.

Food and service is always great! The teriyaki steak is my favorite with extra carrots.
