Blacksmith Coffee Mona Vale

What a cool restaurant Great coffee and food sensational Love to come back for a big group party Highly recommend

After going to the movies we returned to Mona Vale with the intention of having a light meal at Blacksmith - where none of us had been before. Very helpful service and a fair selection of brunch and lunch food items We would return!!

I went here with my wife for Sunday brunch. Very disappointed in the quality of food and service. My wife's toasted sandwich was hardly cooked and tasteless. They took ages to serve us and then lost the order. Maybe we just got them on a bad day, but there are much better places than this to eat in MV and we won't be going back.

I was in the area visiting family and I went to the Mona Vale Hotel hoping to get a good meal and a beer as I was starving!! Unfortunately the Mona Vale Hotel was being renovated and they were not serving food. So I wondered over to the shopping centre thinking I would grab a sushi roll and head back to the pub for a beer. I stumbled across a quaint little cafe / bar / restaurant called Blacksmith. They had a great craft beer on tap and I ordered the curry of the day. It was one of the best meals I have had. Absolutely delicious. Beer was cold and very nice - & I am fussy with beer. I would love the opportunity to go back and sample more of their wares.

Have been planning to check this out for some time, wish I went much earlier. Love the décor, very different to your usual café. Great location, easy to find. I had breakfast bruschetta, it was very good. Soy toast topped with avocado puree, almond paste, poached egg, mushrooms, roast tomatoes. I am happy to be a vegetarian if I can eat food like this every day. Coffee is great too, bought a muffin to take home as they are just too tempting to resist. Definitely going back again and again to try the other dishes on the menu. Highly recommended!
