The Tree On Box Hill - Mole Valley

I came here for lunch after a hike. I was a little unsure because there were no vegan options on the menu, but the service was fantastic and the chef offered to prepare a delicious vegan dish for me. I highly recommend that they add more vegan options to the menu. My friend ordered a burger and steak, and thought they were just average. The service was excellent, with knowledgeable staff who quickly served our food and drinks. The restaurant was clean, with recently renovated decor.

The staff is attractive and the service is satisfactory, but the food was simply not up to par. I had a long walk and was very hungry, but I was still disappointed with the meal. The pub itself was decent with good drinks, but I would not choose to eat there again in the future.
