Zuki Japanese Steakhouse - Mokena

The cook was rude, he was almost yelling at us. Didn’t like when we asked for extra sauce. I have a seafood allergy and he still cooked the shrimp first, we asked him to take it off the grill since I’m allergic and he just covered it and continued to yell something. The waitress didn’t come around until we were done eating, i needed a spoon for my 1.5 year old eating rice with a fork and dropping every piece. Will not be back this place has gone down hill since i was last there a year ago: terrible terrible terrible not worth the money. The food- was well it was ok. It hasn't the best hibachi i had but it wasnt the worst either. It was just eh, the vegetables hibachi lacked vegetables. The chicken/steal hibachi had more then the actual vegetable one. The sauce was a little to salty The service- was great kept making sure we had water and napkins. The Atmosphere- well it wasn't bad certain parts seem out of place but not enough to make it uncomfortable or weird. The Conclusion- It was just ok food, great service and good Atmosphere. Great service (waitress was awesome!! . Hibachi cook funny w great interactions. Food was good but not the best I’ve had in hibachi restaurants. Shrimp was VERY over cooked dry rubbery gritty. All in all good experience but not the best food Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
