Oberweis is such great milk. The chocolate milk specifically I love. Also the cookies and cream shakes. They are to die for! So rich. This location is always a hit for me and I usually go through the drive through but tonight I came in and Haven helped us and she has really excellent customer service skills. Really impressed! I 'm usually blown away by my trips to oberweis, and look forward to stopping in if I 'm near one, but was disappointed this trip. Complications with the ordering of a customized banana royale, which I 've been ordering for over 20 years... the new system wanted to charge me for substituting ice creams and toppings, but the manager stepped in when I questioned. While the right flavors made it into my dish, the whipped cream was flat, and peanuts were incorrectly substituted for pecans...both undesirable. The ice cream was also very soft, and you can see from the picture was a mess that never should have made it to my table. Once I got into it I discovered the banana was severely over ripe and mushy. Hopefully this is a one off issue with staff needing training, but concerning as I 've been so impressed previously with any location.

Offerings are always high quality. One of perks when spending $8.00 on a milkshake, while dining in, is that they’re supposed to be served in a frozen schooner glass. Recently my son and I were served our shakes in glasses pulled directly out of dishwasher, I’m glad they were clean but the hot glasses melted the shakes in minutes. I even asked the staff if they had any cold glasses, they said no and couldn’t seem to care less. Bummed.
