Ocean Basket Cradlestone Mall

One of my favorite fish options is Kingklip and it doesn't matter which ocean basket I go to they prepare it the same way. It great and tasty and it keeps me coming back for more. The service at this particular branch was fantastic. The gent was overly enthusiastic and tried to take us through the entire new menu. Great experience.

Had a bite here before heading to our hotel at the Cradle of humankind for the weekend. I had the prawns with mussels with half chips and rice. My boyfriend had a hake with mussels and rice. The portions of chips and rice are very generous. We enjoyed our meal and our server was very attentive. Management is also very visible.

We love Ocean Basket, because you usually know what you're going to find, this Ocean Basket didn't disappoint. It was very busy but we didn't wait to long to be seated, the waiter was friendly, however our food did take a very long time to arrive. Luckily the order was correct so we could over look the long wait, the food standard was what you expect at Ocean basket, so it was fresh and good. Eventually one of managers noticed the kids at our table where getting a bit restless, he came over and offered some more entertainment for them which was a very nice gesture. Overall a pretty good experience

It is always tough finding a place that will keep a whole family happy, however ocean basket makes that a bit easier. Needing a place for my aunts b-day celebration this turned out to be a very good idea. I tend to make this my movie night stop as well. We have had tables of 25 down to a table of 2. They always impress and always give good quality food. I tend to also be very surprised at the freshness of the fish that they have. Really a good place to go for a good, fresh, tasty meal. The sushi does however slow them down and slows the experience a bit. IMO fix the sushi delivery speed and you will easily get a higher score. Very happy, and you will naturally see me again.

The decor as with all OB's is fresh and light.The staff at this branch were very attentive and friendly.Decided to share the seafood platter and was happy to trade my share of the prawns for the calamari and squid heads.I had a traditional baklava which satisfied my sweet tooth The espresso was pretty awful, but that is not why I was there.Overall a pleasant experience while I waited with a friend for the storm to pass
