Bidrage med feedback...with average food at high prices. Nicely set tables with proper napkins, some tables with a lot of light, some in a more intimate setting. Jolly restaurant manager and swift service. Standard menu with local interpretation of classic dishes but no real vegetarian option. Would say the Kaiser Friedrich across the road (up the hill on the side of the large Art Nouveau building) offers better value for money with the check being similar.
We came here for dinner and the restaurant was nearly empty at 6:30 pm. Friendly service, although the waiter's knowledge of gluten intolerance was very poor (gluten and lactose are two quite separate molecules). The menu groups all allergens together, so it is very difficult to distinguish which dish contains which allergen. Excellent asparagus starters and a very good sweet potato soup were followed by a fillet steak (perfectly cooked), a salmon in a mustard crust, which was delicious and a rolled stuffed turkey breast, which was huge but very good too, if a slight bit salty. We were brought a specially baked gluten free roll, which was a nice touch. Altogether a very good dining experience, although the atmosphere was a little sterile as there were few other diners and the colour scheme was a little stark. The bill came to €120, which was not bad, and included a glass of wine, a glass of beer and a bottle of sparkling water.
No desire to serve us. We felt really undesirable. Severe service errors like putting knives, forks and clean napkins on a dirty tablecloth used during the tea room time . We were the first guests arrived in the restaurant; the head waiter asked us very discourteously to go away. After having been moved several times in the dining room, the same waiter announced us that about ten people must be served before us! We complained by mail: 20 days later still no response, not even an apology! In summary: great hotel but avoid restaurant (there are excellent ones in town far from less than ten minutes walk). Rating : Service, value and cleanliness are related to the restaurant Wintergarten .
Essen war gut und reichlich. Allerdings etwas überteuert. Die Bedienung war etwas überhäblich.Wollte wohl proffessionell erscheinen.
