Farmer Boys - Modesto

I ordered like 15 minutes before close and they hooked it up. it was fantastic I get the bbq chicken salad and it was huge lotta protein and some veggies the hard boiled eggs are never overcooked and the chicken is as good or better than Cane's

The fish platter was good. A little stingy on the fries, other than that I was satisfied with the meal. It was delicious and the price was reasonable. The problem I has was with the ease of use of the menu. When I was looking at the menu and looked on the 4 piece fish platter, I was sure I had seen a side salad with it. However, when I ordered the meal I couldn't get back to the salad and assumed it must have been a recommended add on. Then when I got the meal it did include a side salad, but it came with ranch dressing, which I now assume is the default choice since I never got to choose my dressing. Believe me I wouldn't have chosen ranch. That's why I gave 4 out of 5 stars.

Parm crusted sourdough burger was a let down. Patty was underseasoned, and overall not up to my expectations of Farmer Boys. Perhaps it was an execution problem with my order, but it may need some reworking overall.

The three egg breakfast and the French toast platter were both very good, And very affordable.

All of their food is great, well priced, good amount of food, fresh, good condiments. Will keep coming back and back for more.
