The Open Cork - Mississauga

Ambiance:<br/ There are multiple section in this restaurant you can sit at. The dinning area, the bar area with blue lighting, there is even a secluded area in the back for a more intimate setting.<br/ <br/ Food:<br/ The Italian salad: it was large cuts of vegetables, with minimal dressing. It was difficult to eat.<br/ <br/ Salmon: this was absolutely delicious, the salmon was done to perfection, the sides it comes with were really good too!<br/ <br/ Penne Arabiata:<br/ Flavourful.<br/ <br/ Staff: very attentative, we were there with a very large crowd and they consistently checked on us and the food was always warm when it arrived on the table.<br/ <br/ The only thing I found odd is that the bathroom are located where the entrance is. Without a jacket it was so cold to walk into that area to go to the washroom.

We had a fantastic dinner and a wonderful time at The Open Cork! Our well-traveled friends recommended this restaurant for a special birthday dinner for four, and we were pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. The owner and staff gave us a warm and inviting welcome, and the service was friendly and efficient. The meal was outstanding, and we had a fantastic evening. We can't wait to come back for more!

Amazing outdoor dining, as well as indoor. Great value, Mediterranean food, always fresh. Very very good.

This is a great restaurant! We came here for a gathering and were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful decor. The dining room is very spacious with ample seating for everyone. Our waiter, Peter, was welcoming and even spoke Italian, which impressed us. The appetizers were good, although the bocconcini salad was a bit disappointing. The calamari was amazing and the complimentary bread was nice and soft. The main dishes were mostly great, although the meat cannolini had veal instead of ground beef. The tiramisu was recommended by Peter and was the only homemade dessert, although it was a bit liquidy. The presentation of the dishes was professional and the service was entertaining. The price was reasonable for all that we ordered. We will definitely be back and recommend this restaurant to others!

Good food, really nice ambiance. Came here on a Sunday for a girlfriend's birthday. The restaurant only had a few customers for lunch, so the food came out really fast. The service was average. The food was hot and fresh great prices at this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised to walk in and see how nice it was inside! The dessert was definitely cake from a box that was still frozen when brought to our table so that was a disappointment. But the land and sea pasta I ordered was a large portion size for lunch, and had tons of scallops and chicken in it. I would definitely return here and would recommend it as the food is good for the price.
