Bidrage med feedbackI ordered delivery from this restaurant and forgot to get a drink. I called and a friendly young man added it to my order. They remembered to include all my utensils and the biryani presentation was impressive. I requested it to be spicy and it was amazing!
Simple and casual ambience with tasty food, perfect for a budget-friendly lunch option. The service is efficient and welcoming, and the prices are fair. Ample parking available.
We dined at this restaurant twice during our two-day exhibition at the Exhibition Centre nearby. The food quality was impressive, and the restaurant itself was clean and hygienic. The Punjabi dishes, as well as the secondary options, were all excellent.
I'm not Indian and I've never been in India.... but I've been living and working with Indian people in the Middle East for many years, and I've been privileged to enjoy their food and culture... the friends I've made have enlightened... and trained me. One evening earlier this year, I drove along Derry Rd. and noticed the lights of Punjabi Dhaba.... so I drove back around the block and went into... The wonderful aroma hit me right away and pulled me further. The food on the display looked fresh and the choices were exactly according to my taste.... I was supported by a beautiful lady named Jespri my apologies for spelling.... I couldn't decide on an object.... so I took almost everything in take-away container.... but I have several containers of Dahl Mahkani my favorite.... Jespri was not only very helpful, but also very tolerant... and even helped me carry the numerous bags with the food I had bought in my car! My home is an hour or so far in a small town called Orangeville... For me Punjabi Dhaba is worth the ride for fantastic food.... Orangeville has only one Indian? Restaurant .... and not a very good one at this silly espensive too .... I would urge the owners of Punjabi Dhaba to think about the opening of a place in my city...... I already told Freds about this place.... and also they enjoy their fabulous food....
Get the feel of eating authentic north Indian food somewhere in Punjab at Punjabi Dhaba. Not very far from YYZ airport, this is an amazing place for a hungry stomach after a long tiring flight! You will be served a hearty punjabi meal with amazing...soft naan or kulcha with delicious sabzi. Honestly, this place is not a very lavish restaurant and the servers don't even probably speak English but if you don't care for it, just go for some yummy food! I would definitely recommend trying their Amritsari Kulcha served with yogurt, chickpea curry and pickle....the best thing ever plus leftover for next day :
