Master Steak - Mississauga

The food is not bad. But the girl was rude I asked only one question and she answered as if I should not

The food is good, but forget a smile or courtesy, like what you get from most food stores. The cashier is an Asian or a native, never smiles but work like a robot, you choose who wants to smile and never says... a word like thank you.

I've been trying to taste the poutine here for some time and finally got the chance. I ordered a poutine, onion rings and a small side Gravy over the phone and went to pick it up as I was told... would be ready in about 10 minutes. When I arrived there, I paid for it at the counter and although I had ordered before, it was not done. It wasn't very busy and I couldn't understand what took so long. I had to wait 15 minutes until it was ready for me and I saw that they included an extra small French fries I had paid for without recognizing even though I had not ordered it. I was quite upset that I had to wait so long that I could see that the food was ready, but one of the chefs just didn't want to pack it fast. I even asked the woman who worked as a cashier, she could get it for me, but she told me that the cook refused to help her. So I finally got my order and took him to work so I could eat it. The frits were really good and the portions were pretty big. The onion rings had a tasty dough on them and were really well dug in the engraving. This is really a place for steaks, and since I was there, I saw some extremely huge steaks being served, so if you are looking for a big steak, this is the place to go! Many parking spaces and many stands to sit. I don't think I'm gonna be ordered over the phone again, but I could come back for the fries when I eat at some point.

After a terrible day of flying and delays I stayed in Toronto overnight at a nearby hotel. It's 12 o'clock - most places nearby are closed, but Master Steaks was there for me. I ordered Poutine and was BLOWN AWAY both from the size and taste. I had not expected to order a nice cold beer with my meal, which was an additional blessing. The employees were amazing, funny and attentive, really thanked every individual customer. I recommend a visit to anyone who needs a meal that doubles as a warm hug. A bright spot on an otherwise catastrophic day.

Been going to Master Steak for 15 years. Always had friendly staff that offer quality food and an excellent customer service atmosphere. Customers always taking the time to thank the cook and team before exiting is always common to hear.
