Bidrage med feedbackThe food was delicious, but there were long lines. Perhaps too many people at once? The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, and there is free parking available. However, the parking lot was quite full with large trucks, so I had to find a creative spot to park. The restroom was tidy and well-maintained, and the staff was attentive and friendly. I will definitely be returning.
What a wonderful evening it was for both members and visitors, who enjoyed a night of delicious food and dancing to the fantastic music of the Europa Band. The dinner service was quick and friendly, with Rouladen being a standout on the menu accompanied by red cabbage, asparagus, potatoes, and gravy. The portions were generous and left many of us unable to finish our meals, resulting in leftovers to take home. The club kitchen truly outdid themselves with this fantastic meal. To top it all off, the dessert was exceptional - light, moist, and delicious cakes that satisfied everyone's sweet tooth. After dinner, members and guests had a great time on the dance floor. We are now eagerly anticipating the upcoming Mother's Day High Tea event at the Hansa House for another memorable evening.
It is a bit of a secluded area, and you can drive easy by, the Hansa Haus. But it is really worth your while to make the trip there and enjoy the food and the atmosphere. The schnitzels taste fantastic, they come with potatoes, sauerkraut,...or red cabbage. My husband had a order of spatzle and gulasch, the taste also great. We ended our evening with coffee and cake, Bienenstich, yummy. The Hansa Haus is very well organized and run, the staff are all volunteers, and they serve the food with a smile. Hansa Haus has also a DJ for our entertainment. All in all, we will be going there for other activities they offer and we can't wait to go again for a relaxing evening.
The location is part of the German Canadian Club. We attended their 'Schnitzel Friday ' dinner which happens on the last Friday of each month. Their speciality is of course Schnitzel but they have other meals including Pork Ribs. The schnitzel is to die for, very...tasty. It is served with Sauerkraut and potatoes. They also have other activities including February 's Jaegerball, March 's Easter Egg Hunt, February 's Hansa Goes Classic, April 's Germanica 2016, April 's Anniversary Diiner Dance, June 's Midsummer Night Dance, August 's Hansa Haus Picnic,September 's Octoberfest and November 's Schlachtfest.
Ich habe mich auf einer Tagung im Nebenraum befunden, Getränke mussten selbst eingeschenkt werden. Preise etwas zu hoch, da keinerlei Service geboten wird.
