Galito's - Mississauga

Mavis and Central Pkwy. Kitchen deserves five. Order counter deserves a -5. Eat ready and they ignore you and call. I couldn't even get his attention (3ft before me) to ask for a refund so I could go. Completely... disgusting. Too bad to eat cold food because two non-bearing participants need ten minutes to pack the food.... And I was the only one. Next time, Mario's Chicken gets my order.

Nothing beats a well-drilled chicken dinner, and Galito's is an affordable and tasty place for lunch or dinner. Clean, friendly and available with a party room for work meetings or family events, it is a nice addition to a strip that can feel checked with...chain eating options. The taste (still mild) was really nuanced, the potatoes were nicely spicy and freshly cooked, and I look forward to returning to this place. We discovered it when visiting Ontario Chrysler for car business. My new routine will be: oil change? I'm going to Galito and enjoy a meal!

This restaurant is a great spot for delicious grilled chicken. It may not be the best option for vegetarians, as the main options are fries, potatoes, and rice. The restaurant is spacious and well-managed, with free parking available at the Plaza strip. The staff is also very friendly.

If you enjoy Nandos and Peri Peri, then this is the restaurant for you. It offers a more affordable option compared to Nandos, but the quality of the food is equally impressive.

After inquiring about the size of the portions, I settled on the whole chicken ($25) with a large side and two garlic sticks. The owner estimated it to be between 3-5 pounds, but it turned out to be closer to two pounds. The chicken was cut into eight pieces and was said to be enough for a family, although it barely filled me up. The taste was enjoyable, with just the right amount of salt to enhance the marinade and flame grilled flavor. The large side of rice could have easily fed a family of four. Overall, the meal exceeded my expectations.
