Bidrage med feedbackSome of the best Mexican food I 've had. It may not be the most authentic, but I think it blends the best of Mexican Tex Mex to create something truly remarkable. And some of it is just delightfully decadent pub grub, like the asada fries.Estrella Azul has long been one of my favorite food trucks in the area, and it 's always a treat to be able to dine in and enjoy an expanded menu. The salsas are real hot and I have regrets so take it easy if you 're not craving heat. I highly recommend any of the tacos... The puffy tacos are superb and all of the meats are quite good. They have quite a selection of beverages, including bottled soft drinks like Jarritos and Coke, but also several bottled varieties of beer (I usually get Modelo Negra).Atmosphere is festive but sparse. It is super casual... Real plates but plastic forks, fluorescent lights. You come here because the food is good, not for the candle light ambiance.Tip: The restaurant is only open occasionally in the spring, summer, and fall... since the owner still operates the food truck and can 't be in two places at once. So keep an eye on their Facebook page or check Menufy or Doordash to see if they 're taking orders. The food here is good enough that it 's worth a little overhead to find the right time to visit.Keep an eye out for food truck dates as well they 're frequently at local breweries. Hard to beat tacos beer!Parking: There are several spots along Johnson on the North side of the building. There are lots of side streets and more parking further down Johnson Dr.
Very delicious, fresh flavors. Got the Al Pastor (pork and pineapple) quesadilla. Love!
Great authentic selections. Nice choices of Mexican beers . Barbacoa tacos, puffy tacos were great. Salsas and pico with fresh jalapenos a must try. Met the owner/chef today. Very nice people.
Al pastor is to die for. Service is great, loved the margarita and the michelada! Great prices too. Inside was clean and so cute!
Food was good! I had the birria tacos and an al pastor burrito, both delicious! Chimi cheesecake is a must!
