Applebee's Grill - MIRAMAR BEACH

Worse experience ever! Would not recommend. Took forever for drinks since the bartender had tables. She was more interested in the tables instead of the bar and making drinks for the rest of the restaurant. The manager never came by to check on tables. She just sat. Food took forever. The kitchen manager had to deliver the food. Waitress said it's always like this. I worked at Applebee's for 10 years, and it took all I could bare not to get up and do their jobs for them. I will never go to that establishment again. I was embarrassed for them.

This place is ridiculous. Bartenders neglecting customers for 20+ minutes. The odd thing is the night before the service at bar was stellar. Curly headed young man. Fire the other crew.

Angel was our server 9:30pm). She was great! Fast and truly caring. Ask for her. The quesadilla burger was amazing! Love the fact that they're open till at least 11pm. When it feels like every other restaurant is closed by 9pm, Applebee's is there for the rescue!

We went on a Thursday night. Walked right in and sat down as the place was nearly empty. The staff was super friendly and very fast. The food was not as good as the price indicates. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't expect to pay what we did for the food we received. It was a good temp and delivered as ordered, it was the flavor that was missing something...or a few somethings. You can get better food for your money elsewhere. Even if I was in the neighboring hotel, I would Uber eats something before I went back here. But the people are nice.

When I asked for a high chair for my 2 year old I was informed there were none available because they were both being used. How does a family restaurant only have two high chairs? Ordered mashed potatoes as a side for my son, had to ask for them to bring me a spoon, and the one they brought was huge. Apparently they don 't have children 's silverware or anything smaller than a giant soup spoon? To make things even more weird they didn 't have crayons for my kid even though his menu was clearly one of those paper ones meant to be drawn on. Would have been nice to have that since he wasn 't sitting in a high chair. Other than that, I was sat quickly, food came out reasonably fast and was decent, server was nice. Also was cool to see the bartender chew out some rowdy guy who was cussing at the bar. I just can 't do anything higher than a 3 because for a place that brands itself as a family restaurant, it was not very kid friendly.
