Bidrage med feedbackWent in a Sunday morning. We had to wait about 15-20 minutes, which wasn’t bad at all. My husband ordered chicken fried steak and I ordered chilaquiles. The food came out in good time. Service was good as well. The food was piping hot when it arrived. I don’t eat most meat and all their enchilada sauces have meat, but they were able to give me an option for that which I LOVED. I had to stop myself from eating the potatoes. They were soooo good. I didn’t need to add ANYTHING to them. Huge portion sizes. We will be back!
This is definitely Hidden gem in the heart of Mira Loma Jurupa Valley. It is nice to see this business keep growing throughout the years. My husband and I were in town and decided to show him this place, mind you the last time I went was over 6 years ago and wait was definitely long and no shade. It is awesome to see the changes it’s gone through. Food was delicious, the potatoes are on point and the wait wasn’t more than 15 mins on that morning. Will definitely be back.
A small cafe with a huge appetite. This is the definition of a hole in the wall that is a diamond in the rough. Large portions at a great price. Indoor and outdoor patio. I felt comfortable and right at home. Western theme with a touch of hispanic flavors. I loved it. Parking on gravel lot in back.
This is a diamond in the rough great local cafe you must try. Being harder to find (not just right of the freeway type of location) I believe keeps this a perfect word of mouth type of spot. I base all of my initial impressions of a breakfast restaurant on my favorite breakfast plate…chicken fried steak and eggs. The breading of the chicken fired steak has good flavor and was perfectly fried to a golden color. There were no chewy pieces of meat like some other places. That’s a quick way to have a bad experience with that dish. But the multiple times I’ve had this dish here, it’s been consistently excellent. The gravy compliments the steak well. I alternate between scrambled and over medium eggs. Both are fine. Kinda hard to mess up eggs though. But the kicker is their fresh home style potatoes. You do have a choice of hash browns or country style potatoes, but here at Rodeo Cafe, their country potatoes are next level. When I’ve ordered hash browns they’ve been excellent as well but I favor their country potatoes. The grilled pepper on the side is a nice little touch too if you need to clear your sinuses. Haha!! Staff was great and food came quickly! Anytime we are nearby Mira Loma area in the mornings, it’s always a suggested spot to have breakfast!
Delicious and very hospitable. One of those local diners where you go and taste good food like it was cooked right from your own kitchen.
