Teviotdale Truck Stop - MINTO

I 've been seeing/reading the reviews and i had to double check to make sure they were talking about the same place Dropped in here on Friday july 1st on our way to our friends. Kinda was on the mindset that truck stop good homemade food boy was i wrong! i had the burger with onion rings burger patty was ok but not cooked through, the bun was old tasting , the onion rings were over cooked and that hard we couldn 't eat them when i mentioned this to the server she replied yeah, the owner wasn 't happy with these and that was it we could not even eat them and that was her response? My partner had the clubhouse sandwich which was palatable, he also had fries which were overcooked and hard, he had gravy which was clearly watered down and tasted horrible. Totally disappointed and could never suggest anyone to go to this place for any type of good food worst $41 ever spent that is for sure. way overpriced!!

Our go-to restaurant for family. Food is delicious. Staff is great, especially Cassandra. She loves selling pie.

We decided on a breakfast here, not overly busy, staff was friendly, food came very fast and was very tasty, nice job, price was not over the top either, give them a try if ever this way, cheers

The staff was friendly and the service was good. However, I was disappointed in the club house sandwiches. They need improvement to be rated higher than a 5 out of 10. There was no butter, mayo, or cheese, and the tomato was thinly sliced and hardly noticeable. The sandwich had very little bacon but lots of shaved turkey, making it dry. The coleslaw was excellent, though, and the fries were decent. The deep-fried mushrooms were good and I would order them again. However, for a total bill of $48.00 plus tip for two club house sandwiches, I shouldn't have to take half of it home to redo it myself. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback into consideration.
