Victor's 1959 Cafe - Minneapolis

Some how we’ve been to this little gem. We loved it. Fun little spot with great, attentive service; delicious food great beverage selection. We really enjoyed how quiet it was, which allowed to have a great conversation without straining our voices perfect date spot! The vibe is quirky and quaint and seriously, one of the best meals out I’ve had in a long time.

Super fun vibe and fabulous food. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options.

Unfortunately tonight we didn't have the best experience. The coconut shrimp could have been done better at home, was greasy. The tostones were nearly hard as a rock and pretty flavorless. Our Puerto Rican grandmother thought the beans tasted off and almost out of a can. My tropical rice reminded me of Zatarain's Caribbean rice, not that impressive so just all in all not worth the prices. We were disappointed.

As always the food and staff were fantastic. One of my favorite restaurants!

We have been to Victor’s many times and the food has been great! The ceviche is a wonderful starter along with the meatballs. We haven’t tried everything yet, but the paella, Ropa Vieja, and Cuban sandwich are our favorites so far. The staff are very friendly and are great at suggesting items. Very good food and a fun place.
