Pupuseria El Rincon - Minneapolis

Pupusas were ok. They were dry and flavorless. I ordered three pork and cheese. Almost five bucks a piece? Not worth it. The curtido was ok. Needs more flavor. I ordered plantains. Those were good. I also ordered an horchata and a can of coke. I’m didn’t receive either one. Ugh.

Highly recommend dining at this restaurant! It is located inside a small shopping center that features Mexican and Central American stores. While the staff may not speak much English, their warm smiles are welcoming. The tables were spotless and the atmosphere was family-friendly. The food was delicious and served hot. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and encourage others to give it a try!

I really enjoy their caldo de res. However, I have a busy schedule and cannot wait 30-35 minutes every time for them to prepare it. It is frustrating that they never answer their phone - I called 10 times with no response. When I went in to place my order, I even tried calling them right in front of them, but they ignored the call. My entire lunch was ruined because I had to wait so long for a caldo that should have been ready quickly.

I was searching for a tasty pupusa and I definitely found it! I just wish I lived closer so I could come here all the time. The staff is friendly and provides great customer service. The fried plantains were also delicious.

Absolutely delicious. I will be back!
