Delicious fish chips! Rivals England's best (according to my sister! Fresh tasting fish with a light and crispy batter. Fries are great too! Treat yourself and get some cheese curds! Keep bag open on way home to preserve that deep fried crunch!Food: 5/5

This place is chill. I loved the food I got, but when the front of the house person delivered to my table, they spilled a few cheese curds that were a part of my order. I was expecting them to place the curds back, but instead, they took it away after placing down the food I ordered. All I could do was watch on, flabbergasted as they walked away with the curds they spilled on their tray, while I was thinking, I paid for those as they were a part of my order. ...

Happy to have had the chance to try Mac's as we live nearby. Disappointed that it was not someplace we're excited about going back to. The cod I had was nice crisp on the outside and nicely cooked on the inside. The fries (chips) we're not great. The flavor was OK but they were kind of soggy. The slaw was OK too but not good enough to save the experience. The poutine was the biggest let down. The fries did not hold up to the gravy, the gravy was pretty flavorless as were the cheese curds.I imagine the tacos might be better but there are plenty of taco options nearby.Staff was helpful, vibe was nice. Place could use a bit of a scrub.

Wife had the Halibut and Chips, I had the Cod and Chips, The breading on both Fish was so Light and Tender and took nothing away from the fish, Excellent recipe on that… Both came with a side of Coleslaw that had a little something extra we couldn’t exactly put our finger on but that we both felt brought that simple side up a notch. We shared an order of Cheese Curd Poutine that was Awesome, The Gravy was rich and flavorful. Over all, Great Meal. Will be back soon!
