Bidrage med feedbackWe visited Minneapolis. we have the two vegan calzones on the menu, because it was much more expensive to create your own. we could not stop from herbivorous butcher, so this was a good opportunity to try some of their mosquito meat (chicken, sausage and pfefferoni). we liked both the drop zone best (hb huh and pfefferoni). I didn't have a calzone before, even before I was vegan, I guess I just prefer pizza.
I wish they were delivered to me after the move to my new place! this was our way to quickly eat comfort for film evenings and hangouts. many vegan fixes and super good!
All my old roommates were obsessed with diligent, and I couldn't help but feel jealous. until they make my dreams come true and vegan calzone options added! and cheesebread! that is worth it anyway. I get the 'bauzone' where they make their own recipe, with vegan cheese, vegan sausage, whistle, and broccoli, and Tater sauces. Yeah, you can get more tattoos in your calzone. go big or go home.
I knew it was hype about d. p. dough, I went to mn to visit a college friend. we suddenly drank hunger. I saw that dp dough had vegan options by “meat” by hb. I probably had no calzone in 3 years, and the garlic bread had me fucking close to drinking.
This location is in a college area, so I love that these awesome vegan options are accessible to college students, especially since they're open until anywhere from 1-4am. I tried the Gopher Zone, Drop Zone, and Cheese Stix and loved everything. The cheese stix bread is fluffy perfection, and it didn't have too much Daiya on it. The calzones had a little too much Daiya for me, and one calzone was enough for three separate meals. They use The Herbivorous Butcher's pepperoni, sausage, and chicken, and you can build your own or choose between the two calzones. Can't wait to go back!
