Bruegger's Bagels - Minneapolis

I went to this place for the first time yesterday and was impressed by the General Manager and the staff. The food was great too. I would recommend it.

Comfortable, combined coffee shop and bagel shop, bagel sandwiches, indoor and sidewalk sessions.

I've been there for over 40 times in the last ten years at all hours of work. The product and service were always comparable to the other six Brueggers I had in the last 30 years. The service is between 2 and 15 minutes. I went today after 2 years of absence due to the pandemic after reading so many complaints. I was glad to see familiar faces behind the counter. My 2 sandwiches and dozens of bagels were filled in about 3 minutes. Everyone was friendly and my order was perfect as always. I was happy to see that I could tap with a credit card (I had asked for this option for years), but was disappointed that tips were capped by 10%. Thanks for dinner!

Needed a couple different kinds of bagels early on Sunday Morning. St Louis Park didn't have everything I needed so I headed over to Edina location. Everyone was super friendly and up beat. Definitely would return.

This location just seems to keep missing the mark? Today I showed up at 8:15 am, what I would assume to be a busy time, and the doors were locked with a hand written sign on the door that said something to the effect of ?sorry, we are opening later?. I?m not sure if employees just didn?t show up to work or what happen ???? (if the ?owner? responds to this review, I hope they provide an explanation). I?ve witnessed the downfall of the uptown Brueggers, and the downtown skyway Brueggers, and sadly, this location is following suit. Corporate should just shut it down. Do yourself a favor, and visit the West End location, they are the only location that has consistently fast lines, engaged employees and great bagels.
