I like Al Vento and especially the Sunday Buffet. This Easter Sunday was not what I remember from Al Vento. The selection was much more restricted than I use it. They were released from their pancakes, smoked salmon and several eggs. That in and by itself would not lead to a bad review. The theme was in the buffet camp. Our reservation was for 10:15, so the buffet was not at the end of the standard brunch window. Several times when we started, they were made of eggs, noodles and donuts. This made us with sausage and potatoes together with desserts and fruits. I really enjoyed the food they had, but after 3 rutile attempts to try to get an egg or a pasta. We quit. The restaurant is in a beautiful location and serves good food when it is present, but I will not return to their buffet at any time. I would have preferred a brunch that was NOT everything you can eat. So I might have to taste really good dishes.
