国定公園、秋吉台の地下100mの場所に位置する秋芳洞に通じる秋芳洞商店街の中にある観光会館。 土産物等の販売以外にも館内にてうどん等の軽食を食べることが可能。 写真は山口の名物瓦そば。 西南戦争の際、兵士が肉などを焼く際に瓦を台にして食べたことが始まりだとか。 日本蕎麦を 茶そば？ を焼きそば状態にしているというか、それ自体に味付けはしていなくて。 紅葉おろしとレモンを好みで入れるつけ汁の出汁でいただくのだけど、甘めの出汁が妙に合う一品。
