El Sitio - Mindo

I loved spaghetti with tomato sauce and vegetables. Very fresh and delicious.

The prices are decent for Mindo, many of the restaurants invite much more because of tourism, so it was nice to enjoy a place that can also locals. The vegan burger is from Quinoa and was delicious, make sure to ask it without cheese.

This is the first restaurant I visited when I visited Mindo last October, I visited El Sitio yesterday and was not disappointed. They have a good selection of Ecuadorian style dishes that can be made vegan on request and they understand what vegan is so no evil surprises. The vegan options include ceviche and yuca cakes and veg (both delicious). Staff are friendly and speak English. It has a casual, relaxed atmosphere and both times I visited the service was also fast. A great little supplement to the vegan options in Mindo
