Bidrage med feedbackI am GF and I really wanted to try Japanese food like okonomiyaki and tempura. I was able to taste both as well as gyoza!!! They were all excellent! The atmosphere is also cozy and the staff very nice. They had interesting drinks and gf cookies for sale as well (which were delicious). I was only in Tokyo for 2 days and so could only go once, but next time I am in town I will go again for sure.
Great 100% gluten free restaurant in Tokyo! They have a great variety of Japanese dishes that aren't gluten free in most restaurants. The customer service is excellent and they really care about people with gluten intolerance and other food intolerances. Absolutely recommend if you want to really enjoy a nice dinner without worrying about gluten. The place is small thought, so a reservation is recommend.
We are a family with three children ages 6-11, one of which needs gluten-free food (and one of the parents vegetarian). The restaurant is small, and it is recommended to reserve places in advance (we made a reservation a few hours before coming through their Facebook page's messenger). The food was very good. Large vegan variety (see the photo of the vegan tasty dish that I ate). They we're flexible to make small changes in the menu for the kids. The restaurant is family-run and has very friendly atmosphere.
We made a reservation but dropped by earlier. Everyone was accommodating and friendly. I ordered the vegan gyoza and corn ramen. My husband ordered the friend chicken and my two kids ordered fries and mac cheese. I expected the food to take a bit longer to prepare, as that’s what their menu warns. But surprisingly, the food came out very quickly and was hot! There is an in-house made hot sauce that is recommended with the ramen. I ended up putting it on everything! Very flavorful and not at all too spicy! You can even buy it to go!! The ramen was very good- rich flavorful broth and fresh toppings. The fried chicken was amazing! Nice and crunchy with a honey mustard sauce drizzled on it. We enjoyed the gyoza. (I even saw them making fresh ones as we were coming it! The relief was the best- not having to worry about cross contamination in Japan- knowing with certainty, that I will not feel any lingering side effects afterwards. My husband and older son, who are not gluten free or celiac, said they’d come back for the chicken and macaroni and cheese all the time! They loved the flavors. Afterwards, I ordered the brownie. It was lovely!! Fresh cream and blue berries on the side. I tried a bite of another cake (can’t remember the name and it was heaven! Light and fluffy. Not at all gummy or heavy as some gluten free baked goods can be. Was amazing the next day with my coffee. Please, please visit! Even if you’re not gluten free. Amazing service with healthy food! People working there are dedicated to the fullest on educating Asia to gluten intolerance. I will alway come back each time I visit Tokyo.
It was super delicious! As someone who is celiac, eating out is quite hard. Everything here is gluten free and it taste so good and fresh. Definitely someplace I'm returning to and would highly recommend. They are even trying to spread the word about gluten free in Japan to make it easier for people. Thank you so much for the food and the fantastic service.
