Sorella - Milwaukee

I picked Sorellas for a birthday dinner for my husband. Everything was excellent! Beautiful atmosphere, great service and amazing food. We tried the gnocchi, lamb and chicken and they were all delicious. The pizza reminded us of Florence. Zoe was a very friendly, attentive server with great recommendations for food and wine. We will definitely be back.

I have traveled extensively troughout Italy and it is no understatement to say it is nearly impossible to eat poorly in any region of the country. Sorella while Italian in name reflects nothing of the country of origin. Food is presented /plated nicely but the dishes are flavorless and combinations of flavors and ingredients are ... well, strange. We bought a flavorless, seared swordfish steak, shrimp scampi that was overcooked if the shrimp looks lke an O think overcooked. C means cooked and ready to eat. , a roasted half of chicken, I 've had much better from a sidewalk vendor in Paris, for a fraction of the price. I ended the meal iwth Tiramisu that was awful. Note to chef, there is no reason to mess with the original recipe-it is divine. Sorella should try making it sometime. What I was served was a kind of soupy custard with dried fruits--ala Christmas fruitcake. I am not intending to be pretentious or haughty. In fact, some of the best meals I had when traveling were from street vendors and small Mom and Papa places off the main street in alley alcoves. This was such a disappointing evening--especially if you are in the mood for Italian food, this ain 't it!

Food outstanding! Sat in bar area so overall noise level not bad but was high in restaurant area! One of our absolutely favorite places to dine in Milwaukee! Consistent 5 star food quality!

The food is tasteful and well planned. We noted there are no salt and pepper shakers on the table. No need for salt or pepper. The food is that good. Our server Kat is friendly and conscientious.

The food was excellent. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal. The service was also excellent and our server was extremely helpful and attentive. I would recommend this restaurant.
