Movida - Milwaukee

Barservice was exceptional. the food was very good. we had a new waiter who tried, but obviously badly trained. an aerial was served 15 minutes before the 2 orders of paella and his answer was that he did not know that the paella would last so much longer (that was actually the fault of the kitchen.) the management is compensated by the additional portion of the aerial than the paella was served. I would definitely come back, but would eat in the bar area,

Been to movida in the past. this time was just as good as the others. friendly and quick service along with delicious food!

As currently designed, the restaurant is fabulous. it is wonderful to be able to have a conversation with friends without screaming and then eating was extraordinary. we're coming back.

The service was excellent which is becoming more and more rare these days. Food came very quickly and was delicious. Server made sure tapas arrived at a good pace and drinks were filled. She gave recommendations and answered questions about wine confidently. Ambiance was great could use a little more lighting in order to read the menu.

Overall food and dining room atmosphere was excellent. Restaurant has moved to a 18% service charge included in the bill. This is fine as this is a normal tipping level. However, what is confusing when we asked our server if the tip was included, she responded no. She stated that any tip added to the bill goes directly to her. It is very confusing but makes no sense that a patron would double tip which if done at a normal 18-20% level constitutes an incremental 40% to the bill. Why not add the 18% to the food and drink prices in the menu to avoid confusion and allow yourself to adequately compensate the staff. As it is, I have no idea what our server receives from the service charge.
