Cubanitas - Milwaukee

This place is celebrating 20 years! Congratulations to them! We were in Milwaukee for another 20 year celebration and wanted to check out Cubanitas since they were just two minutes away from our hotel. We got their Cuban wings, costillitas, and bistec empanizado!

A lot to love about this spot, great Cuban food lechon asado, Cuban sandwich, maduros, the plantain platter with guacamole all have great flavor and are up to par with many other Cuban spots. Their mojitos are packed with mint as all should be, and bring on the refreshing vibe of summer in every sip.

I had one their bowls and the plantain platter, good stuff. The cuban sandwich was split by several of us and it was a lot of food! Try the mojito without the syrup. Super refreshing.

I’ve lived in Milwaukee for a year and a half before trying Cubanitas and it easily became one of my favorites. I got there for lunch at least once a week. The food is absolutely delicious!! The atmosphere is charming and the staff are fire and attentive. 10/10 would recommend.

I always have a great experience every time I visit. The food and decor are very similar to what you'd experience in Cuba. My favorite is the shrimp with yellow rice and black beans.
