Bidrage med feedbackCarson’s has been the gothic place of my family for some time when we have torn fleshy ribs, big blacks or salmon. tonight was my fourth visit this year alone. I can eat a lot and in the regular half a plate of ripening has been a lot, especially since the meal contains a side and weed and our family begins in the rule to order either a suppe or a side salad. also during the covid and with the laying of servers, carlson had always maintained its service, portion sizes and quality of food. tonight was a lot different. the part of my half rack of baby back ribs was tiny compared to any previous visit. 3 of the tiny little baby backs in the rack had no meat. my wife ordered a Caesar salad with salmon and was also disappointed with the size and quality of her salmon. I would have complained, but we were out with another couple and we had chosen the restaurant. regarding our service, our meals were served while we still ate our salads so that I and our guests had to move our salads to our dishes because there was no place for another plate. between the food supplies no one approached our table to see if we need anything. I had to ask another waiter who served at least twice another table for another glass soda. Please note that I have seen many server, and the space was half empty. I am not sure if this is one, but I am now very unlikely to come back, which would be sad because we have enjoyed our meal times here and were customers again.
A perfect 10 until the bill arrived. total was about $200, but a 18% tipp has already been added to the bill. there was another line on the input to add a tip. we added almost an additional $50 until we realized that the tipp was already included. that is deceptive and surface-covering. regardless of the food and service we will not be back.
Grew up with cars, love their ribs. this trip was disappointing, one of our plates was not edible, it fixed. service was so bad that it ruined the trip. brot ordered, all right. the ordered escape asked if he wanted salat. my man ordered and they asked if they wanted to eat before. he said yes, it came 30 seconds before eating, then we were not checked. had to fly someone for everything. to go box, waited for 20 minutes after check, someone had to flag. never asked if after filling or another glass wein, dessert, was a chaos and then automatic 18% tap on bill, maybe that's not a service.
Brought entrees before salads, had to send them back. Then brought entrees back while still eating salads. Felt like we were being rushed. Pace of serving was too fast, though it was friendly and professional.
When we arrived we had expected to be seated at.a table. However we were told we had booked four seats at the bar. That surprised me as if I did it was not my intention. The four seats at the bar were right by the entrance and was difficult to have a conversation. Disappointed as Carson’s is our favorite restaurant in Milwaukee (and Deerfield) always a must stop!
