Great little pub, great atmosphere, great menu choice and drinks at great prices, staff are a great bunch and so friendly.

We booked this restaurant for its convenience to a show at Wavendon. It was a frosty evening and the disabled access was difficult due to a slippery, unsalted slope. There were many people clustered around the door smoking (in a sheltered area), so we had to walk through a cloud of acrid smoke to enter the pub. The clientele of the pub seemed vaguely menacing and used foul language. The impression of the bar area was poor, with about 50 dirty glasses waiting to be washed still on the bar when we left. We should have left immediately. We were directed to the "family" area (even though we had our adult son with us), where the tables were sticky and there were screaming babies and bored, unsupervised children running around like feral animals. The food was of poor quality, cold, and unappetizing. The only redeeming quality was the pleasant young man who was serving us.

Come here regularly with my family, but need to say boxing day with extended family was just perfect. We all had fabulous food friendly service. Steph you did amazing wit hehe food. We all ate together which was great meaning we were a party of 11. Thank you to the other that kept the drinks flowing. Thank you . Will definitely book again for a family get together.
