Even though it was busy, service and food were excellent. Staff were friendly and efficient and the Restaurant was clean.

Had the best experience this morning in the restaurant. We called in for a little bit of breakfast. Estelle was our server who was outstanding. She couldn’t do enough for us. So pleasant, an absolute joy these days to have such fabulous service. Well done Estelle and her team. Brilliant

We attempted to use a hot drink voucher we received from Frosts at the cafe in the food hall, but were informed that we could only use it at the cafe in the main building. Since the line there was too long, we asked if the food hall cafe was a separate business, to which they said it was not. We then tried to order tea cakes along with other items, only to be told that they stop serving tea cakes after 11 a.m. as they are only available on the breakfast menu. We pointed out that other breakfast items were still on display and asked if they were still available, to which the server seemed to confirm. It appears that only tea cakes are banned after 11 a.m. Quite comical. Despite this, we may return for the quirky rules and the delicious real leaf tea. It's just a shame about the voucher.

The actual garden centre is lovely albeit very expensive. The aquarium has been removed and replaced with seating so the restaurant is huge. The aesthetics are great, however, the food was absolutely awful, incredibly over priced and the service very poor. My brunch was almost inedible. My toddler had one slice of toast and one tablespoon of beans and burnt veggie sausage for which they charged £6.50. I wouldn’t object to the prices quite so much if the food was fresh/quality was good. Do not recommend.

Although exceptionally busy we were seated without too much delay and served promptly. The food was tasty and staff are welcoming. To top the list however is Dawn who was efficient and cheerful. Thank you Dawn.
