Bidrage med feedbackI hate to give this place three stars, as for the budget-conscious lunch crowd I am sure his great option, but I came here, hoping for a South Indian dinner that will be able to taste with Tirupathi Bhimas (Milpitas), Saravana Bhavan (Sunnyvale), or Dasaprakash (Santa Clara). While Satya can compete on the price, with everything around $5, everything was familiar, but not so good. The masala dosa was thicker than the rest, but not necessarily better tasting. Something more like a pancake. The masala was also somewhat less interesting with the starch of potatoes playing a more dominant role. The red sauce tasted like a spicy marinara and the coconut sauce was better, but not better than other places. There were also less diving sauce. The idyllic were diligent and not so tasteful on themselves. While it would have improved with better dipping sauces, it did not add so much to the meal. The rice curd was delicious, but not so great. It came with a sharply picked side that tasted somewhat like green olives, but much stronger. The lentil soup was good, but not great. Everything is on disposable plates wit styrofoam cups and its definitely a hole in the wall, but if other dosa places are more out of your way or more expensive than satya is still a pretty good option.
