Bidrage med feedbackBe careful of cockroaches! Very CARELESS waitress and indifferent to our order.
3.5 stars. This Halal restaurant has been in Milpitas Square for many years, and I come here once a while over the years. It's Northwest Chinese and Halal, and to me some of the food are quite authentic. I'd recommend the thick pita bread with sesame seeds, the beef wrap, the lamb soup, and the house made thick noodle. The price is reasonable by today's standards, and the service is average.
AC was broken that night when I visit. Food was good as usual but I was so hot it was less enjoyable. All the food tasted good and delivered so fast we should have not order as soon as we had decided. Next time, I will take my time. 20% tip automatically added. Would come again.
Like others, Darda had been a longtime family favorite; we have been eating here for over ten years. This is one of the few Bay Area spots that has maintained its quality and relatively low price point all these years and we will forever be loyal. I can't believe I haven't written about this place yet so I'm finally giving them a well deserved review! Darda is truly a no fuss, authentic halal Chinese restaurant. There are a few dishes that we order every time: chicken with chili sauce 麻辣鸡丁 (this is our fave) flavor home made knife cut noodle/chow mein 三鲜炒刀削面 fried short rib dry garlic 蒜香牛仔骨 other standout dishes: lamb with green onions 葱爆羊肉 dry sauteed string bean 干煸四季豆
Come here for the knife cut noodles! That's their specialty. The food here is halal so you won't find any pork, but plenty of beef/chicken/lamb/seafood options. They seemed a little understaffed today but service was still pretty good. Typically for appetizers I like the beef tendons or the scallion pancakes. Their scallion pancakes are less flaky and mostly just flat, but still chewy. Just a different style from what I've seen at some other Chinese restaurants!
