Salazar's Cafe - Millcreek

I won’t go here again and I don’t recommend it to anyone. The food is not good and it looks like a messy storage unit inside. I felt like I was inconveniencing the staff/owners by eating at their restaurant. I was also made to feel guilty for using a debit card to pay for my food instead of cash. Beto’s is a step up from this place.

My absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in Salt Lake. I work 5 minutes away and come in for lunch at least once a week. Service is always very efficient, and employees are so kind to customers. You will not find better beans and enchiladas in the area. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

Me and my friend cam and ordered a super burrito, it was big enough to split with two people. The food was delicious! “Bussing bussing Fr!”

The cook came out and had a cigarette as I was paying and said “I made your burrito fat, added soo much sour cream” The burrito was 75% sour cream and was disgusting. They were nice though

The place is getting left behind as it is old no frills and I'm sure suffered a lot through covid. Don't expect flashy modern architecture it is a hole in the wall mom and pop struggling place. That said my food was delicious and satisfying. Salsa and rice also was flavorful, Taco was the best part and I'll return again for more. The beans and enchilada were average but good. Most people suggest Chile Verde so I'll have to get that next time and report back.
