Catfish House - Millbrook

The Catfish House has been our go-to for seafood for nearly 30 years and I love it today as much as I ever did. They do fried shrimp and fried catfish better than any other place. The setup they bring you before the meal is delicious; you get hushpuppies, coleslaw, and a little pot of hot northern beans. The inside is beautifully decorated and there is a big aquarium full of tropical fish. It's a very laid back and relaxing atmosphere and the service is always excellent.

The food was great and they gave us way more than we could possibly eat! We’re kinda light eaters but still it was a lot of food. We probably had two more meals in the to-go boxes. The pictures are of what I had (popcorn shrimp, crab cakes, fried pickles) and after eating a good bit. We were expecting them to bring bread before the meal but instead they brought a bowl of pinto beans and hush puppies, and coleslaw. That alone was almost enough to fill us up! The onion rings were great. You can’t go wrong at the Catfish House. ?

Your meal comes with coke slaw and Navy Beans,and hushpuppies. The food is lriced ok.but were is was disappointing was the size of the portions they take a catfish filet and actually cut it into 2 pieces.the baked potato was.like small.the fried shrimp measure like bay shrimp not crunchy at all th9s was my.fisrt time here.the service was good bit the place was.packed full. If they would make the portions better I would be more apt to return.

Parking: Need more parking space,for amount of people they have on an Saturday....

Service was a bit slow. But..... the place was packed with customers.
