Subway - Mill Bay

We have a lot of Subway sandwiches here and around the world when we travel because they are consistently good. At this location, they do the least generous version I have ever seen. You almost have to beg to get a few more onions or...any of the veg, and they make the meat stretch out so you get fewer pieces. We got so tired of it after a few tries that we cut this location out and just go to the Duncan subways, especially the one near Canadian Tire, which is excellent.

Friendly service, fresh and well prepared. Nice clean restaurant. Have stopped several times while traveling the Island highway. Always good. Dan

My grandma today was super nice and got me a sandwich from subway today since I was sick. I usually would have gone to the duncan subway, as I prefer the sandwiches and the bread is much better, but I live closer to the mill bay subway. My grandma had me write down which sandwich I wanted and veggies. I wrote down that I wanted a subway melt ( A sandwich combo, has differed kinds of meat) The adult subway employee told my grandma she didn't know what a subway melt was, Are you kidding??? The subway employee didn't know what sandwich it was, she replied to my grandma, I don't know what you are talking about, we do melt cheese. First of all, I work at a different subway and there is a cheat sheet, so I got a cheese flatbread sandwich, that was not toasted properly, with have frozen tomatoes, and other veggies! I am really disappointed in this subway, I think maybe the staff should be retaught what kinds of sandwiches they sell.....

Great subs, restaurant recently renovated. Bright clean and great friendly service. Close to highway for travelers wanting a healthier lunch than burgers and fries. Definitely will go again. Dan

If you're looking for a tasty lunch at an affordable price, this is the perfect spot for you. The service is quick and efficient, although the ambiance is lacking. However, the staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, it's a fantastic option for a fast lunch.
