Bidrage med feedbackMililani BBQ is pretty good with their food. As a couple of dishes we chose to get the bibimbap and shrimp tempura. Comes of course with the assorted side dishes which is always a welcomed factor in any Korean restaurant. Wait time was no existent as we got to our table quickly. Will continue to visit them anytime we need a taste of Korean food in the are. The place seemed to be very quiet, but then again they weren't that busy when we went. Other than that, nothing but good things to say about this restaurant.
Visited Mililani BBQ after catching the sunset on the North Shore. Who knew Mililani could be so busy Saturday night. We waited about 20 25 minutes for a table, we were able to put our name down and walk around a few of the shops they have there. I tried the hot stone bibimbap with bulgogi and loved how the crispy rice got in the hot stone. My partner had the fish jun and meat jun combo, both were super ono. I loved the banchan side dishes here shoyu potatoes, Kim chee, taegu which are refillable on request! This is a really homey spot a classic local Korean diner feel. I don't often come to Mililani, but this spot really opened my eyes to all the different businesses they have here!
I always come here for my Korean food cravings. The service is always prompt and the people have been working there for a long time and know their regular customers. I love Korean side dishes, so if you can spare some time, eating in is definitely better... but their take out is prompt and delicious as well.
Tonight was the first time that I had eaten at Mililani BBQ in awhile, I started eating at Sadie 's in Pearl City. I had the stir fried pork with vegetables spicy, it was $21.95 and I ordered the crispy mandoo (7 pieces) and it was a little over $15.00. The pupu dishes were disappointing too as they did not have a lot of flavor. The stir fried pork with vegetables was absolutely delicious. The mandoo was an embarrassment to serve. There was hardly any filling in the mandoo, what filling you were able to eat was tasteless. This use to be a fantastic restaurant that I have eaten at for over 30 years . . . just heartbreaking to see this happen.
One my favorite Korean BBQ Restaurants! Today I had tofu soup and my son Dol Sot Bop. We both ate yummily and heartily cleaned out our bowls! Banchan included pickled seaweed, pickled daikon, pancakes, Kim Chee and one more. The Kim Chee has a delicious heat with sweet not sour flavor. One reason this restaurant is different is their offering of special combos for lunch and dinner. Sometimes you want this and also that. The combo puts a big smile on your hungry (maybe hoggy) face! Of course, the big bone Kalbi is to die for! Service is polite, quick, and appreciated. Decor is nice and facilities ckean.
