Trattoria Casottel - Milano

This place is one of them that I never though I would find in the city. It's an old style locanda with old owners who serve dishes from the local tradition. We enjoyed it and if we are around we surely come back. Service is not at high standards but this is very understandable to me. Food is simple but not what you would cook at home. Prices are fair.

Good traditional food Very basic service Worth going only if you look for old Milanese cuisine (NOT Mediterranean)

Very easy to go and park, better booking by phone. Old style country place, but really great experience. Home made pasta of various types and typical well done rise with meat (ossibuchi or brasato). Good red wine. Good desserts home made too. On summer there is a garden with simple tables among trees. The owner is an old woman, quite an aunt. Simple but true.

Ottima cucina casa mantovana, gentile e sempre sorridente e prezzo basso. Fidati.

Locale di altre volte, cucina casalinga e prezzi nella norma hanno mangiato bene il peccato per la totale assenza di un menu con prezzi relativi (menu detto in voce e conto sorpresa, che si trova nella norma)
