Tijuana Cafe - Milano

Amazing house and eat! very nice staff! we took an aperitizer for two people, two main courses, three margarita (love it) and a bottle of water and we spent euro.

This place is located in the South of Milan, near Lodi square. I've been twice in this place. The first time I was here with friends and we tried a bit of everything with some sangria and ordered even some desserts. I want to stress...the salmon fajitas which are a totally uncommon dish, especially for the Mexican taste, and the desserts as well. The sangria is the only thing that was not the best. We enjoyed very much the hats, fake guns and costumes you can freely use there. The second time we had a softer dinner, with an appetizer of shrimp and guacamole and a main course of vegetarian enchilada, which had a mix of tastes, but was pretty good. We appreciated everything, though the margaritas was expected to be better in a Mexican restaurant. In all cases, I can underline the kindness of the personnel and the prompt service. The price is more than adequate.

We came here reading the reviews online, but i must say, i was greatly disappointed for several reasons. the food was mediocre, nothing special. it was not authentic mexican, if you had bought beef in a supermarket and some piadina, you woulda made similar...things at home. jalapenos were not spicy at all, don't know where they get their canned stuff from euro for cover charge... FOR WHAT?! not a single piece of bread or anything. seriously? just for sitting down? for the one time use napkin? euro cocktail drink, that if u sat down n ordered dinner, there's no aperitivo. so shouldn't it be a slightly different price? this place has great potential, but the management needs to seriously reconsider several things. no wonder people barely come to you to have dinner.
