Fresh vegetables and good quality. Very kind service, late 80s environment beginning 90, but the modernariato it's so hot right now!
_ I often go to lunch with my colleagues. I really liked it. With only 9 euro and 50 : -Mega salad -Vellutata di carote or other vegetables you can see in photo -Acqua -Caffè accompanied by delicious biscuits . I say SOLI 9 euro and 50, because considered the area, Garibaldi, salads cost on 12 euro and sometimes they are really miserable and insignificant. Believe me, CAVOLI salads are not simple salads, you decide what to put in the bowl... There is everything, dairy products of all kinds bocconcini, smoked scamorza , Greek fesa , and various cheeses , meat, fish, olives, mushrooms, nuts .... There are no limits, you can fill the bowl until it overflows. In the end it is no longer a light lunch, but salad becomes a real pasta ahahha For salad there is a DIY service, while for all other types of dishes, orders à la carte. I personally ate salad always, but my colleagues who order salmon or meat dishes in their opinion are very tasty and of excellent quality. Friendly staff, beautiful location, try it absolutely!
Freeze all: we found a good place for breakfast! It's called Cavoli, and it's one of those open rooms all day. The menu changes according to the timeline: in the morning, from 7.30 to 11, goes on stage “Cavoli, what breakfast!”: protagonists croissants (small and big, to stuff), muffins, bagels, yogurt, fruit, cereals, refuges, smoothies. Until 15:00, then, the space turns into “Cavoli, which café!”, for those who want a coffee before returning to the office. Then there is the lunch break of “Cavoli, che pranzetto!”, and also wanting “Cavoli, che cena!”, in the evening. But we just talk about the breakfast, which we liked. First of all, the juice was red oranges, and it is not so trivial. We like red oranges a lot but in Milan generally the bars prefer to use orange ones. Finding a place that makes spremute with red oranges is rare, and then a point for Cavoli!. We got tempted by a mini chocolate bag and liked it, and then we listened to the advice of the bartender who suggested we try the organic tart of apricots: once so it was not the interested advice of the bartender who wants to disposed of the old tart, indeed. The tart is rich in jam, the dough is not dry and hard, and the portion is more than abundant. In short, we are satisfied. The place is beautiful, green, bright, modern. There is some place at the counter, and then there is the room with the tables. In the middle, in beautiful exhibition, all the bowls with the various ingredients for salads, fruit, bread and everything you need to compose your own dish. The feeling is to have happened in a “thinking” place, in short, you see that there is a study behind it. Try that sometimes you just have to think about it a little more, and see that things are good. Damn, if they're okay.
Self-service salad. 10 at the table, 6 take away. Excellent ingredients, do not arrive too late or remain little choice.
The restaurant is located inside the hotel and this perhaps makes it lose some charm to the local, but the service and quality of the food compensates abundantly. They also have a great selection of wines to try. The waiter presents the dishes with detailed descriptions when serving them and cares about customers even during breaks between the first and the second, without lesinare on the wine that offers if the wait of protraes more than due. I discovered it with a groupon, but it is one of the places that deserve to be visited even without the help of offers and/or discounts.
