Pizzeria La Paereta - Mijas

The spaghetti reminded me of Heinz spaghetti hoops and the pizza was bland! In addition the waiter appeared to not want to be there. My advice eat elsewhere.

The waitress decided to move one of the sunshades for no reason, and smashed it against my wife's head! No apologies or compensation for what occurred. Staff just disappeared inside the restaurant. Unfortunately we had already paid. El camarero decidio mover uno de los parasoles sin motivo, y en el proceso golpeo con ello a mi mujer en la cabeza! No pidieron perdon ni compensaron lo ocurrido. Los camareros escaparon a los confines del restaurante. Desafortunadamente ya habiamos pagado.

Give this place a wide berth!! It is situated in a lovely part of the village and often busy with tourists, but both the food and service leaves a lot to be desired. One meal was totally wrong, even though we asked for it in English and Spanish and even pointed the choices from the menu. Once they realised it was incorrect they took ages to bring out the correct one which was literally thrown on the table in front of the guest with no apology. The food was tasteless and unappetising, do not be fooled by the setting and judging by other reviews I have seen we are not the only ones disappointed.

Super authentic tasting food . Lasagne and Canalloni top notch...House wine super..VERY VERY REASONABLE PRICE....Super helpful staff... Pity I can't eat say two dinners as to then enjoy more..
