Dempseys Irish - Mijas

My husband and I had a lovely meal at Dempsey's. It's a smallish place, but with a good sized menu. Our food was delicious and the service very good. My only wish would be that they'd stock more draught beer. Will definitely recommend this place, for both eating and drinking socializing.

Upon visiting this shoddy little bar and asking about the Manchester United match, I was told they didn 't watch that 'scum ' in the pub. Should have realised as the pub was a shrine to Liverpool FC, which would not have worried me in the least. But their loss...United played four times during my visit, and my three sons and I were very thirsty throughout.

Stayed in Calahonda for two weeks and visited Dempsey’s regularly throughout our stay. Great bar, friendly staff with a special a mention to Mark, who is an asset to the bar and so friendly. Great entertainment including singers and karaoke and sports. The only thing we were a bit disappointed with was the food. To be fair we only had a snack here once, chips topped with chilli, and the chilli wasn’t very hot. It says on the menu that all food is cooked to order and the chilli seemed to be heated up in the microwave, and not very well. A few meals got sent back while we were there. Aside from this though this is a great bar and worth a visit.

Really nice Irish bar, staff were friendly and it has a really good atmosphere. We only had drinks here, but the food looked amazing! We would definitely go back for drinks and try food.

Great atmosphere, fabulous singer Zac black karaoke, singing, dancing and generally a great time all round recommended for sure
