Lynis - Miguel Hidalgo

We had breakfast there. My breakfast was OK but certainly not outstanding. My wife did not care for the place. They did seem to do a very good breakfast business. Basically ordinary offerings.

Lyni's has seen better days when the Schneider Family managed their small chain of Restaurants. The food is bad, service is bad, and the ambience looks old.Service is terrible as is wine selection (non existent).If you want a cafeteria, choose another one, Lynis is the worst of the lot.

Lynis is a Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner restaurant with a great menu and is very reasonably priced! If your not good at Spanish, No Problem! As there are pictures displayed for each dish.

Here in Mexico City, while trying to eat fast before a movie, found this place next to the cinemas on Reforma and 'Diana Cazadora's' monument, decided to give a try and it did not disappoint! I had a 'fish tampiqueña' and the wife the typical tampiqueña, it included a salad bar and courtesy coffee. The cheese flan is out of this world!And here's the best part: all this for 12 US dlls!This included 2 main dishes, salad bar, 2 natural fruit drinks, a flan a a coffee...we can't wait to try their breakfast menu!

LOVE this place - went there twice in the two days we were in Mexico City. The service is EXCELLENT and I loved the simple rice and eggs meal I had. My father had a seafood salad which he said was wonderful! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Mexico City!
