Top Food! The best dinner we had in Edinburg. Delicious home made and typical Scottish food. Also the beer outstanding however… the Crew was the best. They really taking care of the guest!

Great place, enjoyed a malt of the month the Fettercairn and a real ale before realizing the ale was served by autovacs or what some know as economizers, which emana any beer that drips over the side goes into a tray with a pipe that delivers it back through the tap and into the next beer poured. A little sad they are still being used to be honest because I do not believe most patrons are aware of their use.

We had a quick pre drink in here prior to going for a meal elsewhere. I think a pint and glass of wine came to around £15. Ridiculous prices, go elsewhere for better value. They have lots of cool posters up from shows at the Playhouse but I don't see that's any justification for paying such a premium.

The pub is an eye-catcher for sure. The interior is very pub-like and authentic. The staff are Scots and therefore friendly by default. The menu, although not vast, has something for just about any taste. I had the fish chips, which was excellent.
