Great food! Old pub, Shepards pie! Haggis bon- bons, yummy! Must have the toffee pudding! Good waiting staff for boating!

I stopped here because it caught my eye when I passed. The staff was very welcoming and I decided that the smoked salmon begins with the Sirloin as head. The salmon was lovely and perfectly portioned. The Sirloin was perfectly boiled, with medium wheel. I definitely come back when I ever return to Edinburgh.

Came by to try fish and chips mainly thanks to good reviews here. The fish was excellent! Add a fantastic and friendly service to the experience. For all future stays in Edinburgh, a certain visit must take place. I can also try other options there. I'm back

Great experience! The food was delicious, we had the Mushroom Stroganoff, Chicken Chorizo, Sticky Toffee Pudding and Scottish Cheeseses and would order everything again! The staff was very friendly, extremely attentive and made us very welcome. We also liked the music.

Marvellous, just marvellous. The meal was very good but it's after the meal that was really great. An accordionist and fiddler were playing folktunes and the whole bar were joyfully singing along. Utterly splendid and did I mention that I was full of very decent whiskey? Coz I was!
