Stefano's Italian Cafe - Middletown

Usually get the Eggplant Florentine--not tonight, Scallops, their special. Absolutely delicious!! Everyone enjoyed their meal-stuffed shells, lasagna, pasta with sausage.

Such a great old school, family owned Italian place. Full of yummy comfort food. Great daily specials compliment their every day menu. I had the lasagna on a cold winter night. Perfect! It has lots of old school charm and they are clearly a staple of their community.

This is by far a must do when in SouthWest Ohio They have some incredible specials. I'm soaking up a shrimp carbonara with a La Cala as I write this A real gem in the rust belt. We held wife's BD party at Stefanos and they outdid themselves. 20 people handled like pros. Thanks Alexa and team. Scallops were a hit and the Jordan Cab was perfect

This Italian restaurant turned out to be extremely different than I thought it would be. Not in a terrible way. The layout is very casual, you walk up to the counter and have to read the menu and order up there. I don't like feeling rushed which is how set ups like this make me feel. But the food was delicious. The garlic bread looked homemade and was more flavorful than the run-of-the-mill Texas toast garlic bread. Their meatballs were pretty good. The eggplant looked delicious too. I will be eating here again, and again.

Best Italian in town, despite premade garlic bread. Wood fired pizza oven is one of the few in the area, and the pizza is tasty. Lively bar full of regulars, and the Staff remembers us and we don't go too often. Try the veal. No seriously. One of my favorite dishes there.
