1861 Southern Kitchen Bourbon

I absolutely enjoyed our recent date night at 1861. The food was fresh and delicious. I ordered the shrimp and grits and they knocked it out of the park. My girlfriend had the blackened salmon it was also amazing. The staff was very friendly and our service was prompt. I can’t wait to return. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Cool place I’d recommend in Middletown. Entrance is in the back and down some stairs. Definitely a sort of “speak easy” vibe but I loved it. Fun drinks loved the Smokey Old Fashioned where they literally burn wood with a blow torch at your table! Food was terrific, though they were out of a couple of things I might have wanted to try.
